Obsessed with finding stories on the fringes of culture, Alex's minimalist approach to directing balances the organics of documentary with a focused eye on the magical. Originally from the UK now based in Vancouver, his work includes the cult satire feature film “Machotaildrop” and the acclaimed Viceland TV series “Abandoned.”  As an Emmy-nominated director, his unique voice for non-fiction, sports and comedy filmmaking has allowed him to make commercial and branded content with Poler, Nike, Quicksilver, Canon, and Red Bull.
