Launching in New York this past weekend, Adult is a new quarterly magazine of "new erotics" for the sensual and the readerly — publishing art, photography and essays with a fresh and original perspective on sex, literature and design.

Founded and edited by Sarah Nicole Prickett, the first issue boasts a dense array of features and contributors — emails from Rachel Kushner, a profile on three generational filmmakers, including David Cronenberg, Ryan Coogler and Deborah Kampmeier, an oyster omelet recipe from White Zinfandel, and spying on Kava Gorna's masturbating friends, among many other moments of nudity therein.

With the issue in stores mid-November, you can find the magazine in select retailers, but for now here's a preview of what's to come.
